Text Box: Dress Rehearsal Schedule The dress rehearsal for this year’s recitals are as follows: Recital 1 - Saturday, June 2nd at 9:30 am Recital 2 - Thursday, May 31st at 4:00 pm Sleeping Beauty - Friday, June 1st at 10:00 am All rehearsals will be held at the Rogers High School auditorium. Please refer to the 2012 Recital class schedule on the back of this newsletter to determine what recital your children are in. Text Box: Half June Tuition Half June tuition, as stated in our tuition guidelines, will be due in May. We will be holding extra classes in June in preparation for recital finales, Sleeping Beauty, and dress rehearsal. Auto Debit payments will be taken out June 1st. Text Box: Memorial Day Schedule A few classes will meet on Memorial Day (Monday, May 28th), as extra rehearsal time is needed. These classes will be the only classes to meet on Memorial day: Monday 4:30-6:00 (both classes) will meet from 5:00-6:00 Monday 6:00-7:30 will meet from 6:00-7:00 Rachel’s Monday 6:30-7:30 class will meet from 6:30-7:30 Text Box: Finale Rehearsals We will hold rehearsals for this year’s recitals on the following dates: Recital 1: Saturday, May 19th from 12:30-1:30 Recital 2: Sunday, May 20th from 1:00-2:00 All students involved in the recitals need to show up for their respective recital finale rehearsal. Text Box: Extra Sleeping Beauty Rehearsals We will have extra Sleeping Beauty Act II rehearsals on Saturday, May 19. Rehearsal time is from 11:30-12:30. The classes involved are: Both Monday 4:30-6:00 classes Tuesday 6:30-8:30 Company 2 We will rehearse Ladies in Waiting, King, Queen, Sleeping Beauty, and Caraboose. Text Box: 3rd Friday Twilight Walk The Ballet Westside Performing Company will be performing during the May 3rd Friday event in Downtown Rogers. The performance will be in front of the Frisco Stage at 5:30 pm on Friday, May 18th, 2012. Please come out and watch these girls perform! Text Box: April, May, & June Attendance Policy As stated in the studio brochure, students are only allowed three absences for the combined months of April, May, and June. The only exceptions to this rule are funerals and extended illness, as determined by the instructor. Text Box: Dress Rehearsal Schedules A detailed rehearsal schedule is attached to this newsletter. This outlines when your child needs to arrive for their dress rehearsal. Please be sure to read through this important schedule. The camp will run Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm starting July 9th and running through July 27th. The camp includes snacks, transportation to events, activities at the studio (but not regular dance classes). Events consist of movies, swimming, skating, etc. The camp cost does not include regular summer dance classes, admission costs of events, or lunch. Students must bring their own lunch. Students may participate in 1, 2, or all 3 weeks. The camp cost is $100 per week. A non-refundable $50 deposit must be paid by June 11th to reserve a spot. Only 20 spots will be available for each week, due to transportation issues.
